CONNECTING THE LP DISPOSABLE CARTRIDGE
Use LP disposable cartridges with a minimum capacity of 430g and a maximum
capacity of 460g. The cartridge must have a EN417 valve as illustrated. One type
of cartridge that can be used is a Primus model 2202 or a Weber Q Gas disposable
cartridge.
CAUTION: Use cylinders that are marked Propane fuel or
Propane-Butane mix only.
Push LP disposable cartridge into regulator and turn clockwise until tight.
WARNING: Hand tighten only. Using excessive force could
damage the regulator coupling and could cause a leak or
lack of gas flow.
CHECK FOR GAS LEAKS:
Do not use an open flame to check for gas leaks. Be sure
there are no sparks or open flames in the area while you
check for leaks. Sparks or flames will result in a fire or
explosion which can cause serious bodily injury or death as
well as damage to property.
You will need: LP disposable cartridge, a soap-and-water solution and a rag or brush to
apply it.
A)
Mix the soap and water.
B)
Turn the gas control to on by turning anti-clockwise.
C)
Check for leaks by wetting the fitting with the soap-and-water solution and
watching for bubbles. If bubbles form, or if a bubble grows, there is a leak.
