ANTI-EPICONDYLITIS BANDAGE
Properties
• Elbow support with anatomically-shaped silicone inserts. (1)
• Anatomically-shaped knit for a perfect fit.
• Reinforced proprioceptive effect due to the presence of dimpling
over the tendon insertions. (2)
• Removable strap allows individual pressure adjustment. (2)
• Visual markers at the crease and tip of the elbow for precise
positioning. (4)
Indications
• Insertion epicondylitis (tennis elbow) and epitrochleitis (functional
treatment).
• Prevents against future recurrence and gives active support for
sports activities.
• Ideal for manual work situations.
Contraindication
Do not apply the product in direct contact with broken skin.
Fitting instructions
• Slip on the elbow support, positioning the soft blue knitted zone in
the crease of the elbow, with the blue pull tabs upwards. (A)
• Position the lateral bone extremities of the elbow (medial and
lateral epicondyles) in the holes of the silicone inserts. (B)
• The silicone inserts must rest on the sides of the forearm. (C)
• To adjust the level of compression, add the additional strap if
necessary, positioning the widest two zones over the silicone
inserts at the forearm. (D)
Precautions
• Do not pull the strap too tight. This may lead to a restriction in
blood flow (tourniquet effect).
• Follow the advice of the health professional who prescribed or
supplied the product. Consult your health professional if discomfort
occurs.
• Store at room temperature, preferably in its original packaging.
For hygiene and performance reasons, do not re-use the product
for another patient.
Washing instructions
• See product label.
• Do not use detergents, fabric softeners or aggressive products
(products containing chlorine).
• Squeeze out excess water.
• Dry away from heat sources.
