OPERATING MODE

In all functioning modes, the on-board electronics check the water and air inlet temperatures to ensure that they are compatible with the selected functioning mode. The
actual activation of the valves, fan and compressor will be linked to the upstream consent chain (humidistat/thermostat, water and air inlet temperatures).

VERSIONS DMH, DMH-C

If digital input ID4 is open, the unit is set to operate in summer dehumidification mode.
Activation is by means of a humidistat (not supplied) connected to the ID3 digital input (potential free contact) which, when closing, activates the voltage outputs in this order:
— R04: Cooling water circulator/shut-off valve consent (not supplied)
— R03: Fan start consent
— R01: Compressor start consent, with delay T1 with respect to the fan
The lighting of LEDs L1 and L2 in fixed mode confirms that the compressor and fan are running; they flash if the compressor and fan are switched on with a preset delay.
When the humidity set point is reached, the compressor, fan and valve are switched off, the latter with a delay of T1 in relation to the compressor.
In dehumidification mode dEh, the supply air is:
— Dehumidified and neutral in the DMH version
— Dehumidified and cooled in the DMH-C version.
To prevent frost formation on the evaporator, a timed defrosting procedure is provided (parameter d01), which involves stopping the compressor momentarily and restarting
it later.
The unit can also function as a winter forced air heater, as long as a bipolar summer/winter switch is connected as shown in the diagram below. In the winter position, the
switch closes the ID4 input automatically disabling the compressor, and the thermostat provides heating consent (switch and thermostat not supplied). This mode is indicated
on the display by the word FAn.
