4.3.2 Channel monitoring

With this function you can listen to all signals (even
the weakest) on the channel that you are using
(regardless of any CTCSS or DCS code you may
have selected).

With this function you can scan all 8 channels, 38 CTCSS codes and 83 DCS codes to identify which ones are
being used by your correspondents.

When the device detects a signal, scanning stops and the unit communicates on the channel in question.
