The functions of the baby carrier
GB
With the '3way' baby carrier you can carry your child in a number of different ways.
Once you have adapted the carrier to your personal requirements it takes just a few
moments to put your child in the carrier and carry him/her securely.
You can use the carrier as early as in the first week (provided your baby is at least
53cm long and weighs 3.5 kg) and until your child weighs about 12 kg (at the age of
about 12 months).
The baby carrier has three basic functions:
1.
As a front carrier - your child facing you (Fig. a)
In this mode the middle zip is open, the side zips are closed. The width of
the seat crosspiece ensures that your child's squat position is anatomically
correct.
The protective headgear is raised upwards.
2.
As a front carrier - your child facing away from you (Fig. b)
In this mode the middle zip is closed, the two side zips are open. The
protective headgear is raised forwards.
3.
As a back carrier - your child facing the way you are going (Fig. c)
As with the first mode the middle zip is open, the side zips are closed.
The protective headgear is raised or lowered depending on the size of the
baby.
Here too the width of the seat crosspiece ensures that the child's squat
position is anatomically correct.
