Step 6. Add the face place (with door
hindges faced out) on the outside
of the skimmer and liner around the
door opening to secure the liner
to the skimmer. Carefully install all
screws into the face plate. Lastly
remove the temporary nails and
replace with the last two screws.
NOTE: Do no use a power drill to
complete this step.
Step 7. Use a knife to cut and
remove the section of liner inside the
door opening. Remove any excess
sealant around the opening at this
time.
Step 8. Install the door with foam
facing up. Flex the hinges inward that
will attach to the bottom of the door
opening. Snap the door into place,
and test to see that the door can
open and close without interference.
Step 9. To add the pump to the
skimmer, start by securing the
coupler to the back hole on the
outside of the skimmer box with a
gasket and attaching on the inside of
the skimmer to the tubing adapter.
Step 10. Connect tubing to the
outlet of the pump using an adapter
included in the pump if needed. Use
a hose clamp if desired.
NOTE: Pump, adapter, and hose
clamp are not included.
Step 11. Place the assembled pump
with tubing inside the skimmer.
Connect the tubing to the tubing
adapter. Use another hose clamp if
desired. Route the pump power cord
through the grove on the back corner
of the skimmer.
