Step 12. Place the leaf basket inside
the skimmer with handle facing
towards the back. Add the cover to
the skimmer, and push the door so it
falls into the skimmer box.
Step 13. Use the tubing adapter to
connect tubing to the outlet of the
skimmer to return water to the pond
or to connect to a waterfall spillway.
Use a hose clamp if desired.
Disguise the skimmer with rocks or
natural materials for a professional
look. Add water to cover the 2/3 of
the skimmer door opening.
NOTE: Tubing, hose clamp, and
waterfall spillway are not included.
Step 14. Connect the pump into a
properly grounded electrical outlet.

MAINTENANCE

• The Pond Skimmer may require cleaning from time to time for optimal
performance.
• Before cleaning, always disconnect from the pump inside the
skimmer from the power source.
• Remove the cover and remove the leaf basket dumping and leaves or
debris out. You can clean the leaf basket or the inside of the skimmer
with water.
• Return the leaf basket and cover, and reconnecting the pump to the
power source when you are finished.
