splay, the thermostat will function properly
for approximately 1 month, after which time
it will stop functioning and only the " "
symbol will remain steady on the display.
To change the batteries, open the cover
completely and unhook it.
Replace the batteries, making sure that the
negative and positive poles are correctly
oriented (1-year battery).
Close the cover after replacing the batteries.
If the batteries are changed within the re-
serve period of 2 minutes, the thermostat
will continue functioning in AUTOMATIC "
" mode, keeping the time and the
date updated.
If not, re-enter the time as described in chap-
ter "entering the time and date when turning
on the thermostat".
