CAUTIONS
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical equipment, basic safety
precautions should always be followed including the
following:

installation.

This luminaire must be installed in accordance with the
NEC or your local electrical code. If you are not familiar
with these codes and requirements, consult a qualified
electrician.

MOUNTING OVER JUNCTION BOX
1.
Remove the lens by removing the four screws securing the
lens to the rear housing
2.
Remove reflector by removing the two screws securing it to
the rear housing.
3.
Remove the knockouts from the rear housing which are
appropriate for the junction box being used.
4.
Wiring the fixture to the supply leads from the junction box
per the Electrical Connection section.
5.
Attach the rear housing to the junction box using the
fasteners provided with the junction box. Be careful not to
pinch any lead wires.
NOTE: For wet locations, a high grade caulking material,
such as silicone rubber, should be used between the back
gasket and the mounting surface.
6.
Reinstall reflector that was removed in Step 2.
7.
Reinstall lens that was removed in Step 1. Do NOT
overtighten lens screws to prevent damage to lens.
MOUNTING USING CONDUIT
1.
Remove the lens by removing the four screws securing the
lens to the rear housing
2.
Remove reflector by removing the two screws securing it to
the rear housing.
3.
Remove 2 knockouts diagonally across from each other
on the rear housing to allow the fixture to be secured to
mounting surface.
4.
Pull fixture leads through grommet on back wall of rear
housing so electrical connections can be made inside
fixture housing.
5.
For surface conduit:
Remove threaded plug from lower edge of rear housing
and connect 1/2" conduit to threaded opening
NOTE: To ensure a watertight seal, teflon tape should be
used on conduit threads.
For conduit entry from back:
Remove conduit entry knockout on back wall of rear
housing. Attach rear housing to conduit using conduit nut.
Make wiring connections per the Electrical Connection

Attach rear housing to the mounting surface using
fasteners (supplied by others) appropriate for the mounting
surface. Fasteners should be passed through knockout
holes removed in Step 3 and threaded into mounting
surface.
NOTE: For wet locations, a high grade caulking material,
such as silicone rubber, should be used between the back
gasket and the mounting surface.
8.
Reinstall reflector that was removed in Step 2.
9.
Reinstall lens that was removed in Step 1. Do NOT
overtighten lens screws to prevent damage to lens.
