STANDARDS
This appliance conforms to the European directives and
standards on electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility
and building products. It conforms to EN 12050-3 (lifting
plant for aste ater containing faecal matter for limited
applications).

COMMISSIONING THE UNIT
Once all electrical and plumbing connections have been
chec ed, flush the WC.
The motor of the SANIPACK
from 10 to 20 seconds, depending on the height and length
of the discharge pipe or . If it runs for more than 25 seconds,
chec that the discharge pipe is not in ed or bloc ed.
To chec that all connections are atertight, run the
WC, sho er, ashbasin, one after the other for a fe minutes
to represent normal usage. Ensure there are no lea s.
Do not secure the access panel until all the
connections have been chec ed.
WARNING:
There should be no dripping of ater from the
WC cistern or taps. If there is, this ill cause the unit to
activate repeatedly as it pumps the ater a ay.

WARNING:
If the SANIPACK
hot/boiling ater for a prolonged time, the thermal cut out
device ill stop the motor from operating. In this case, it ill
ta e approximately one hour for the motor and ater to cool
do n, after hich it ill automatically re-activate.

discharging at more than 15 litres per minute.
If away for a prolonged time eg. holiday, we would
recommend that you turn off the water supply to the
WC connected to the unit.
WARNING:
The SANIPACK
used for the evacuation of normal human waste, toilet
paper and household WC cleansers.
Damage may occur to the machine if the following are
disposed of in the WC: Cotton wool, tampons, sanitary
towels, condoms, wet wipes, itchen towels as well as
other fabric or hard items.
A build-up of hair can cause problems, so a hair trap
should be fitted to a shower.
Finally, solvents, acids and other chemicals can also
damage the unit, and will invalidate the warranty.
This device is not designed for persons (including
children) ith limited physical, sensory or mental
abilities, or those ith minimal experience and
no ledge, unless they are monitored and are given
the necessary instructions for using the device, ith
the help of a person responsible for their safety.
Monitor children and ma e sure they do not play ith the
device.

• For 3 to 4 litres of water mixed with a strong
solution of descalent/spirit of salts into the WC pan.
• Leave it to stand for 1 or 2 hours, then reconnect the
electric supply.
• Flush several times to clear.
The frequency of this operation ill depend on the
hardness of the ater in your locality. We ould
recommend this be done about t ice a year.

FAULT-FINDING CHART
For the most part, any inconsistencies in the
operation of the unit will be minor and easily rectified. Please
refer to the chart below. If the problem cannot easily be
remedied in this way, please call our Service Organisation.

REMOVING THE SANIPACK

Any replacement of the power supply cable should only be carried
out by an authorised SANIFLO service engineer.
Disconnect the electrical power
