AIR SUPPLY
The efficiency of the tool is dependent on the proper supply of clean dry air at 90 psig (6.2 bar). The use of a line filter,
pressure regulator, and lubricator will insure maximum output and life of tools.
HOSE AND HOSE CONNECTIONS
Supply hose should be not less than 3/8" (10 mm) I.D. Extension hoses should be at least 1/2" (13 mm) I.D. Use couplings
and fittings with at least 3/8" (10 mm) I.D.
LUBRICATION
An airline lubricator, set to deliver 2 to 4 drops per minute, is recommended. If a lubricator is not used, add .04 oz. (1.2 cc,
12 to 15 drops) of SIOUX No. 288 air motor oil into the air inlet twice a day.
Lubricate the planetary gear assemblies with 1/4 oz (7 gm) of SIOUX No. 298A grease after every 100 hours of operation.
Lubricate the angle head with 0.01 oz (0.3 gm) of SIOUX 1198 grease after every 8 hours of operation.
GENERAL OPERATION
Depress the lever to start the tool. A speed control adjusting screw is located on the motor housing opposite the lever.
