Pull The starter rope until you hear The engine start.
If the engine does not start, move the air lever to open
and pull the starter rope until the engine starts.
If the machine starts and does not stop itself, move
the air lever slowly to the open position
Allow the engine to warm up for approximately one
minute before starting to work with the machine.
6.4.2.2. STARTING THE MACHINE FROM HOT
Place the machine on a flat, stable surface to start it.
Place the switch in the ¨I¨ position.
Move the air lever to the normal working position
Hold the machine firmly in place by the handle so that
when you pull the starting rope the machine does not
move.
Pull the start rope until the machine starts.
If the machine does not start after pulling at the rope
a few times, please refer to the cold start up section.
6.4.3. NGINE STOPPAGE
Let go of the accelerator and let the engine run at idle
speed for a few seconds.
Place the switch in the ¨O¨ position. The engine of the
machine will stop and after a few seconds the blades
will stop as well.
After you stop working and turn the machine off,
the blades will carry on moving by inertia for a short
while. Ensure that the blades have completely stopped
before carrying out any maintenance work or before
transporting the machine.
6.5. CHECKING POINTS AFTER START UP
It is important to ensure that there are no loose parts
and to check the temperature of the machine. If you
detect anything strange, stop immediately and check
carefully. In case of any anomaly or problem take

the machine to your nearest service agent for repair.
Never carry on working if the machine does not seem
to work properly.
Do not use the machine if broken or not well
maintained.
6.5.1. CHECKING THE CLUTCH
After starting up and the engine is hot, the cutting
tool must not be moved if the engine is idle. If the
.
cutting tool turns with the engine running and without
accelerating, it will be necessary to regulate the idling
regime of the engine. To do this, turn the carburettor
nut "T" until the engine stops.
If you are unable to regulate the idling regime to stop
the cutting tool, because the engine stalls, please
contact the customer service for help.
The regulation of the screws (H) and (L) must only be
carried out by an official technical service.
7. MACHINE USAGE
Use this machine only for jobs for which it has
been designed. The use of this machine for any other
jobs is dangerous and can cause dangers to the users
and/or to the machine.
