5. Installation
• Please observe the safety guidelines detailed in this document during installation!
• Improper installation and operation of the module will lead to the exclusion of all warranty claims.
• Hazards caused by adjacent structural components are to be avoided. Free access to the module and connection pipes is to be ensured.
• Ensure the stress-free connection of the module.
• Where possible, the module should be installed in the immediate vicinity of the hot water fittings.
• The module must be installed on a firm, dry wall with a load-bearing capacity.
5.1 Heating connection
Once the module has been properly installed it is connected to the heating system. The supply can be provided via a separate pipe from
the central heating station as well as via an appropriately–sized distribution network, including a radiator connection. In this case, the
module is to be connected as the „1st radiator". The heat capacity can be billed using a heat meter installed on site by the customer.
(choice according to system parameters).
Max allowable operating pressure:
Max allowable operating temperature: 110 °C
For details of the differential pressures and volumetric flows required to ensure the hot water capacity, please refer to the planning &
design documents.
Note:
To exclude incorrect circulations or unwanted heating of the heat exchanger, a gravity brake has already been installed in
the appropriated Meibes dirt trap.
5.2 Sanitary connection
Once the module has been properly installed, it is connected to the sanitary system.
The drinking water quantity can be billed using a cold water meter installed on site by the customer (choice according to system parameters).
Max allowable operating pressure:
Max allowable operating temperature: 110 °C
Optimal operating pressure:
For detailed information on ensuring the hot water capacity, please refer to the planning & design documents.
CAUTION:
If the heating agent temperatures are very high or highly fluctuating and the expected hot water temperatures are > 60 °C,
a thermal mixing valve must be installed (on site by the customer) to ensure protection from scalding.
