USE
■ Make sure that the speed selector switch (b) is on position "0" (fig. 1).
■ Insert the shafts of the beaters (c) or the dough hooks (d) or the balloon whisk (certain models only)
(e) into the specially designed holes. The balloon whisk (certain models only) can be inserted either
into the left or the right hole of the appliance.
Once inserted, the two beaters should have the same length. When they are properly fixed and inserted,
you will hear a "click".
■ Plug in the appliance.
■ According to the quantity of food to be processed, place the ingredients into an appropriate container
(preferably a deep bowl or tumbler).
■ Immerse the beaters into the food before turning on the appliance so as to avoid splatters.
■ Turn on the appliance with the help of the speed selection switch (b), first on speed 1, then on speed
2, and then on speed 3 as the processed food gets thicker and thicker (fig. 3).
Your appliance is equipped with a Turbo switch which enables you to reach the maximum speed with
only one push of the switch (fig. 4).
Do not keep the appliance running on maximum or "turbo" speed for more than 10 minutes when using
the beaters or more than 4 minutes 30sec when using the dough hooks.
■ Turn off the appliance before removing the beaters from the processed food (in this way you will avoid
splatters). Return the speed selector switch to position "0" (fig. 5).
■ Unplug the appliance.
■ Remove the beaters, the dough hooks or the balloon whisk (certain models only) by pressing the eject
button (b) (fig. 5).
CLEANING
■ Unplug the appliance.
■ Make sure you always eject the beaters, the dough hooks or the balloon whisk (certain models only)
before cleaning (fig. 5).
■ Clean the beaters, the dough hooks or the balloon whisk (certain models only) immediately after use so
as to avoid residue of egg or oil mix sticking to or drying up on the accessories.
■ You may clean the beaters, the dough hooks or the balloon whisk (certain models only) by using a
sponge and some washing up liquid. You may also clean them in a dishwasher.
■ Clean the body of the appliance with a damp sponge only and dry thoroughly.
■ Do not wash the appliance in the dishwasher by any means.
■ Do not use abrasive sponges or objects containing metal parts.
■ Do not immerse the body of the appliance into water by any means (fig. 6).
