ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the hook on the wall in the desired
spot and mark the wall with pencil through
the screw holes in the hook. Take the hook
away and drill holes in the three places
where you marked the wall. If your wall
surface is wood, you can now screw the hook
directly into the wall with the included wood
screws. If your mounting surface is drywall
(sheetrock) or plaster, tap the provided
plastic expansion bolts into the holes and
then secure the hook to the wall by screwing
the included screws through it and into the
three expansion bolts into the wall. See
IMAGE A.
2. Locate the set of 4 screws (part 5 of the fan
parts diagram) used to attach the rear guard
to the front cover of the fan motor (part 8
of the fan parts diagram). Mount the rear
guard to the front motor cover and secure it
with the four screws, making sure they are
sufficiently tightened down. See IMAGE B.
3. Put the fan blade onto the motor shaft. Affix
the blade onto the motor shaft by tightening
the blade fixing screw (located on the back
side of the fan blade at its center) to the
shaft.
See IMAGE C.
4. Loosen the screw on the bottom of the
plastic ring on the edge of the front fan
guard (part 17 of the fan parts diagram).
Place the front guard onto the rear guard,
making sure they are aligned correctly, then
fix them together with the plastic ring and
tighten the screw and nut on plastic ring
together in order to complete the assembly.
See IMAGE D.
5. Put the wall fan onto the hook that you
mounted to the wall in the first step. This will
finish the installation.
