timer. To interrupt the roasting process, simply turn the timer knob to the "off"
position. If the time initially set runs out, the oven will automatically shut down.
Note: Bread may burn if set too long. It is recommended to supervise the oven while
the bread is being toasted.
• If you want to use the oven as a grill, place the food tray on the wire rack and
place the food on the tray. Please, use the food pan to prevent grease from
spilling into the oven.
• To defrost, place food in the tray after removing the entire wrapper. The
temperature should be set between 95º and 120º and it will not be necessary to
preheat the oven beforehand. The time needed for thawing depends largely on
the weight, type and shape of the food and it will be necessary to turn the food
over to prevent cooking. The oven temperature should not be set too high as this
can cause food to burn. If the food can be cut easily with a knife, the defrosting
process can be completed. Always cook food immediately after thawing.
• To bake cakes, cookies or sponge cakes for example, place the food in the
preheated oven (about 10 minutes). The temperature will depend on the type of
food to be baked and should generally be between 200º and 230º.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: Turn off, unplug and allow the oven to cool before cleaning. Make
sure all parts of the oven are dry. You can wash the baking tray and wire rack
by hand or in the dishwasher. Do not clean with abrasive materials or steel pads, but
use nylon or polyester mesh.
• Clean the window with a damp cloth and dry well. Do not use glass cleaner.
• Clean the inside and outside of the oven with a damp cloth after each use.
• Wash the baking tray and wire grill with a little mild detergent and a cloth in warm
water.
• DO NOT use chemicals.
DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS AS THIS MAY DAMAGE THE EXTERIOR
FINISH. DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL OR SIMILAR AS THIS MAY DAMAGE THE
FINISH. DRY ALL PARTS AND SURFACES THOROUGHLY BEFORE PLUGGING IN AND
USING THE OVEN.
