Minimum spacing
Natural convection must be possible above and below the
device. A clearance of 100 mm must be observed in both
cases.
Mounting the Central Interface Module (CIM)

The Central Interface Module is screwed directly to the rack.

The fixing screws are screwed into the CIM in the
delivery condition. Unscrew these 6 fixing screws.

Connect X1 / X2 to the higher-level controller and/or the
next PROFINET device using an Ethernet cable according
to the PROFINET specification.
X1 / X2; S1 / S2: PROFIBUS
(see Section A, Figure 1b)
Connect X1 to the higher-level controller and/or the next
PROFIBUS device via cable.
X2 is the service interface.
The PROFIBUS address is assigned using the S1 / S2
address selector switches.
X3: 24 V DC supply voltage
(see Section A, Figure 1)
