2. Manual measurement
2.1 Aim at the target the pull and hold the trigger. SCAN icon will be flashing indicating the targets
temperature is being measured.
2.2 Release trigger and the SCAN icon will disappear and HOLD icon appear indicating that the measuring
has stopped and the last value will be saved in the display.
3. Trigger free measurement
3.1 When trigger free function is selected, pull trigger to start measuring.

Note: The target must be bigger than the diameter off the two laser spots to ensure accurate reading. Please
also make sure to select correct Emissivity value.
4. MAX/MIN/AVG/DIF function
Press MODE key after powering on to change between MAX/MIN/AVG/DIF function (shown below).
The value off selected function will be shown in the secondary display.
MAX = shows the highest value in the secondary display.
MIN = shows the lowest value in the secondary display.
AVG = shows the average value in the secondary display.
DIF = shows the difference between highest and lowest value in the secondary display.
5. HIGH limit alarm setup
Press SET key one time after powering on to enter HIGH limit alarm setup (shown below). Press the keys
with up and down arrows to program requested value. The value must be higher than LOW limit alarm.
When pressing the key shortly the value will change 1 digit at the time and when holding the key down the
digits will count quickly. Instrument will exit setup after 5 seconds if there are no operations.
6. LOW limit alarm setup
Press SET key two times after powering on to enter LOW limit alarm setup (shown below). Press the keys
with up and down arrows to program requested value. The value must be lower than HIGH limit alarm.

digits will count quickly. Instrument will exit setup after 5 seconds if there are no operations.
