Sound activated relay. As long as the circuit receives signal at the audio input, the output will be connected.
It incorporates a potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment, an indicator led, and protection against polarity inversion.
Especially suitable for automation applications in processes where it is required to detect an audio signal.
POWER SUPPLY: Connect the 12 VDC power supply to the POWER terminal respecting the ± polarity.
Install a switch for protection and safety, as reflected in the CE standard.
Before activating the switch, make the rest of the circuit connections.
To supply 230 VAC use our FE-103 or FE-300 power supplies.
FUNCTIONING . Connect the input signal to the terminals. The length of the cable should be as short as possible.
You must use shielded low frequency cable. The input signal can be provided by auxiliary jacks, mixing consoles,
etc., it cannot exceed 300mV maximum level.
The circuit every time it receives an audio signal will connect the output through the relay, remaining connected until
it stops receiving signal. If you want to regulate the sensitivity of the circuit, adjust it using the potentiometer.
