NOTE:
This unit should be mounted ONLY through a
pair of the preformed keyholes onto a 4" "OCTAGON"
junction box, or through a pair of the keyhole knockouts
onto a 4" SQUARE junction box.
IMPORTANT: Provide each unit with a single-phase AC
unswitched power supply from a 120 V or 277 V circuit used
for normal lighting.
IMPORTANT: The battery must be connected to the unit prior
to applying AC power. Battery damage will occur if the battery
is connected for longer than 24 hours without providing
continuous AC power.

See Wiring Diagram. Route all leads through the center hole of the
mounting plate and use appropriate code-approved connectors,
capping unused leads. In Remote Enabled (REM) versions, if no
remote lamps are to be connected, the extra wire harness may be
discarded.
Using caution not to pinch wires or connectors dressed inside the

junction box, secure the mounting plate to the junction box screws.

For increased security, additional screws are recommended.
To ensure proper engagement of the mounting plate latches to the
housing, DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN THE SCREWS.
