MODEL IDENTIFICATION

Refer to Tool Operation Check on page 5 before proceeding to use this tool.
Trigger Operated (Fig 4)
Identified by:
No speed adjustment (a)
No trigger free play adjustment
Note: All TU216 models are fitted with a secondary trigger device; this reduces the possibility of the tool
being actuated un-intentionally.
TRIGGER OPERATED (Fig 6)
The Trigger Operated model is cycled by actuation of the trigger.
Raise the secondary trigger device (6.1)
Keeping the secondary trigger device pulled, activate the operating trigger (6.2) to fire a fastener.
Releasing the secondary safety trigger and the operating trigger simultaneously will automatically lockout
the operating trigger (6.3) preventing the tool from being actuated.
Warning! While the secondary trigger device is pulled, the tool will fire a fastener each time the
operating trigger is activated.
For maximum power: rotate valve anticlockwise as far as possible. (6.4)
To reduce power: rotate valve clockwise for up to 30% reduction.
AUTOMATIC (Fig 6/7)
The automatic model is cycled by actuation of the trigger.
To actuate the tool: raise the secondary trigger device (6.1)
Keeping the secondary trigger device pulled, activate the operating trigger (6.2) to fire a fastener.
When the trigger is pulled lightly with a short motion the tool will drive one fastener. (7.1) When the trigger is
pulled as far as possible the tool will continuously drive fasteners automatically until the trigger is released.
(7.2) The rate at which fasteners are driven in the automatic mode is adjustable. (7.3)
Releasing the secondary safety trigger and the operating trigger simultaneously, will automatically lockout
the operating trigger (6.3) preventing the tool from being actuated.
Warning! While the secondary trigger device is pulled, the tool will fire up to 30 times a second when the
trigger is activated in automatic mode.
The speed adjustment screw is located on the left side of the tool in the trigger valve area. (7.3) Turning the
screw in a counter clockwise direction increases speed and in a clockwise direction decreases speed. This
model also includes a trigger free play adjustment (7.4) to adjust the amount of trigger stroke between
single and automatic operation.
For maximum power: rotate valve anticlockwise as far as possible. (6.4)
To reduce power: rotate valve clockwise for up to 30% reduction.

TOOL OPERATION CHECK:

Warning! Remove all fasteners from tool before performing tool operation check.
Automatic (Fig 5)
Identified by:
