Note: be sure to remove the transmitter back panel
before drilling the hole. It is essential to keep drilling swarf
and other waste away from the inside of the transmitter.

If necessary, pass the two UNI leads attached to the
FlightRecorder through the back panel of the transmitter.
•
Locate the three-core UNI lead attached to the
FlightRecorder, and connect it to the COM port of the 2.4
GHz M-LINK RF module, or the COM socket on the main
circuit board of the M-LINK transmitter.

Note: if you are using a MULTIPLEX Telemetry-Display
(# 4 5182) at the same time, connect it to the FlightRecorder.

The three-core UNI lead attached to the FlightRecorder
should be secured inside the transmitter (e.g. using a cable
tie or adhesive tape).
The single-core (yellow) UNI lead attached to the
FlightRecorder is not required.
Close the transmitter.
