the method of starting and stopping the data recording process,
and set up the unit for its first use.
9.1.
automatic recording start
When the FlightRecorder is switched on, it completes a brief
initialisation phase, then opens a file, and automatically starts
logging data.
Data recording ceases when the FlightRecorder is switched off.
Next time you switch on, logging resumes in a new file.
9.2.
manual recording start
A switch on the transmitter is used to control the start and stop
of the data recording process:
When the FlightRecorder is switched on, it completes a brief
initialisation phase, then opens a file; however, it does not start
logging until it is activated by means of a switch (servo channel).
The process ceases when switched off using the servo channel.
Next time the unit is switched ON using the servo channel, log-
ging resumes in the same file. The interruption in the logging
process can be seen in the time axis.
The file is closed when the FlightRecorder is switched off.
Next time the unit is switched on, a new file is opened.

Data recording ceases when the transmitter is switched off.
Next time the transmitter is switched on, the logging process re-

In this case the recording process cannot be started and
stopped by means of a servo channel, i.e. using a switch on the
