3.3. DEVICE USE
3.3.1. MEASUREMENT INSTRUCTIONS
100Ω
3.3.1.1. DC/AC VOLTAGE
1)
Connect the black test lead to the "T-COM" socket,
1kΩ
and the red test lead to the "T + VΩHz" socket.
10kΩ
2)
Turn the dial to "V
~
". Press SELECT key to return to
the selected DC/AC test
3)
Connect the probes to the source or load to be
measured.
4)
Read the result from the LCD display.
3.3.1.2. RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT, DIODE TEST AND
ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT CONTINUITY
1PF
1)
Connect the black test lead to the "T-COM" socket,
10PF
and the red test lead to the "T + VΩHz" socket.
2)
Set the dial to the "Ω" position, the pre-set function
100PF
is resistance measurement. To change the function,
press SELECT button to select the diode test or the
1nF
continuity of the electrical circuit test.
3)
Press "SELECT" button to select the diode test.
10nF
4)
Connect the black and red test leads to the cathode
(-) and the anode (+) of the tested diode, read the
100nF
voltage drop from the display. If the probes are
1uF
connected to the diode in reverse, the display will
show "OL".
10uF
10
5)
Press "SELECT" to select the continuity test of the
electrical circuit.
6)
Connect the probes to the circuit to be tested. The
acoustic signal will be continuous if the resistance is
Sensitivity
less than about 50Ω.
7)
Read the result from the LCD display. Please note:
Make sure that the circuit under test is not live.
Maximum load: 250 V rms <10 s
Minimale
3.3.1.3. MEASUREMENT OF ELECTRICAL CAPACITY
Eingangsspan-
1)
Connect the black test lead to the "T-COM" socket,
nung: 0,1 V ~
and the red test lead to the "T + VΩHz" socket.
1,5 V AC
2)
Set the knob to the "CAP" position.
3)
Connect the probes to the item being tested.
4)
Read the result from the LCD display.
Please note:

When
reading takes more time before the final indication
Resolution
of the value (for the 1uF ~ 99.99mF range it will take
about 4 ~ 7 seconds).
When testing capacitors with low capacitance (≤
1°C
1uF), to ensure measurement accuracy, first press
"REL" and then continue the measurement.
Maximum load: 250 V rms <10 s.
3.3.1.4. FREQUENCY MEASUREMENT
1)
Connect the black test lead to the "T-COM" socket,
Test conditions
and the red test lead to the "T + VΩHz" socket.
2)
Set with the "Hz/Duty" button the selected test: Hz
Constant current
(frequency) or Duty (duty cycle).
about 1.0 mA.
3)
Connect the probes to the source or load to be

3.0V.
4)
Read the result from the LCD display.
Open circuit voltage
3.3.1.5. TEMPERATURMESSUNG
around 1.0V
1)
Turn the dial to "°C/°F".
2)
Connect the black test lead to the "T-COM" socket
and the red test lead to the "T +" terminal.
3)
Connect the probe to the selected temperature
measurement location.
4)
Read the result from the LCD display.
Maximum load: 250 V rms <10 s
A.
The temperature function indicates a random
number. In order to take a measurement, place the
thermocouple at the measuring point
B.
Do not replace the thermocouple with a different
one.
C.
High temperatures should be measured using
a probe designed to test high temperatures.
3.3.1.6. DC/DC ( AC ) MEASUREMENT
1)
Turn the dial to "600A
2)
Set the selected test - DC or AC using SELECT button.
3)
Set "REL" on the display with the values: "0", ACA
auto Zero.
4)
Pressing the clamp opening button, open the
measuring clamp. Insert the cable to be measured
through the open clamp jaws.
5)
Close the clamp and read the result from the LCD
display.
Please note:
For safety reasons, before carrying out the
measurement, disconnect the test leads and probes
from the device.
When measuring the current via the measuring
terminal, hold the cable in the middle of the jaws for
more accurate test results.

3.3.2. DIRECTIONS FOR USE

If the indication range is exceeded, the message "OL"
will be displayed.
The device turns off automatically after 15 minutes
of inactivity. Press SELECT button to deactivate the
device automatic shutdown.
When the " " symbol appears, replace the battery.

3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

a)
Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
b)
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
c)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
should
be
discharged
before
and direct exposure to sunlight.
d)
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
testing
high-capacity
components,
the
it in water.
e)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical efficiency and spot any damage.
f)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
g)
Do not leave the battery in the device if it will not be
used for a longer period of time.
h)
Protect the device against moisture. If it is wet, wipe
it dry immediately. Liquids may contain minerals
which can corrode electronic circuits.
i)
Use and store the device in standard temperature
conditions. Extreme temperatures can shorten the
life of the device, damage the batteries and deform
or melt plastic parts.
j)
Handle the device with care. Dropping it may damage
printed circuit boards and cause malfunctioning.
k)
Protect the device from dust and dirt.
l)
Use only new batteries of the size and type indicated
in the technical specifications.
Before installing or replacing the batteries, make sure that
the device is not connected to an external circuit,
that the control knob is set to "OFF", and that the
test leads are disconnected from the terminals.
SAFE REMOVAL OF BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES
9V(6F22) batteries are installed in the devices.
Inserting a battery:
1.
Open the battery cover on the back of the device
with a screwdriver.
