CAR SEAT INSTALLATION
WARNING! This seat can be installed only in
passenger seats facing forwards.
WARNING! Never install the seat in a passenger
seat equipped with a front airbag due to the risk
of serious injury or even death.
1.Seat installation for group I (children
weighing 9-18 kg) with ISOFIX connectors
and Top Tether.
Before installation, make sure that the
passenger seat is equipped with ISOFIX Top
Tether connectors (usually in the rear part of the
base, in the trunk, or on the back shelf – see car
manual for details).
Press the ISOFIX connector release buttons and
pull out the connectors (fig. 1). Push the ISOFIX
connectors to the passenger seat anchors until
they lock. You should hear a characteristic
"click" (fig. 2, 3). When the ISOFIX connectors
are properly in place, the buttons releasing the
connectors will slide out and you will see the
green indicator (fig. 4). Make sure that the seat
is fastened tightly and does not wobble. If the
seat wobbles and the ISOFIX connectors are
not in place, repeat the actions presented above
(fig. 5).
EN
Hook Top Tether to appropriate anchor (fig. 6,
7, 8). If required, press the button on the strap
buckle to extend it (fig. 9). Next, tighten the
strap by pulling its end (fig. 10). If the strap
is appropriately tight, you will see the green
indicator on the buckle (fig. 11).
2.Seat installation for group I (children
weighing 9-18 kg) with 3-point car seat belt.
Recline the seat to maximum (see: "Seat recline
adjustment").
Pull out the bottom backrest lock and push the
backrest forward (fig. 12). Lead the car seat
belt between the seat's backrest and shell and
lock it in the appropriate buckle (fig. 13). Open
the shoulder strap guide (the one closer to the
buckle) and the harness tension adjuster cover
(fig. 14). Run the shoulder strap through the
open guide and the lap strap through lap strap
guides and under the tension adjuster cover (fig.
15). Tighten the straps in the buckle and close
the shoulder strap guide and tension adjuster
cover (fig. 16). Make sure that the tension
adjuster is properly closed. You should hear a
characteristic "click" (fig. 17). Adjust the shoulder
strap to have it running though the middle of the
upper seat shell, push the backrest back into
the shell, and push in the lock (fig. 18). Pull out
the upper lock partially and adjust the shoulder
strap to have it running above the upper lock
(fig. 19). Push the upper lock all the way back
inside (fig. 20).
3.Seat installation for group II (children
weighing 15-25 kg) with 3-point car seat belt.
Before installation, remove the safety harness
together with covers and the baby insert (see:
"Safety harness removal") (fig. 21).
Pull out the shoulder strap guide in the lower
headrest (fig. 22), run the strap through it,
and push it back in (fig. 23). Place your child
in the seat and lock together with the seat in
the appropriate buckle (fig. 24, 25). Make sure
that the lap strap is as low above the hips as
possible and that the shoulder strap is halfway
between the child's shoulders and neck (fig. 26).
