Basic safety information

Workplace safety and security

Keep your workplace clean and ensure proper illumination.
Messy or dark work areas can result in accidents.
Do not use the electrical tools in the explosive environments
that include flammable liquids, gases or dust. Electrical tools
generate sparks that may ignite dust or vapours.
Keep children and other persons away when you use
electrical tools. You can loose control of the device by being
distracted.

Electrical safety

The power plug of the charger must fit the electrical outlet.
The plug may not be modified. Do not use adaptors together
with other electrical equipment on circuits provided with
earth leakage protection. Unmodified plugs and suitable outlets
reduce the risk of electrocution.
Avoid bodily contact with earthed or grounded surfaces like
piping, heating, stoves and fridges. The risk of electrocution is
increased if your body is earthed/grounded.
Protect the unit from rain or moisture. Water entering the tool
increases the risk of electrocution.
Do use the cable to carry the battery charger, to hang it up or
to pull the plug from the outlet. Keep the cable away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts of any device.
Damaged or twisted cables increase the risk of electrocution.
When working outside with the tool, only use extension
leads approved for outside areas. Extension leads that are
approved for outside areas reduce the risk of electrocution.
When the battery charger must be used in a humid
environment, the outlets must be protected by an earth
leakage circuit breaker. The earth leakage protector reduces the
risk of electrocution.

Personal safety

Pay attention to what you are doing and be sensible when
