Attachment of the safety line
When you engage in physical activities we advise you to
attach a safety line to your sound processor so that it is
not lost if it disconnects (7). The clip can then be fastened
to your shirt or jacket collar.
Abutment cover
An abutment cover is included in the kit. It can be placed
over the abutment when the sound processor is not in
place. Simply press the cover on to the abutment.
Share the Experience
The test rod provided can be used by others to listen
to your Baha sound processor themselves. Snap the sound
processor on to the test rod and hold the rod against the
skull bone behind the ear (take care not to allow the sound processor itself to
touch anything as this may cause feedback).
Accessories
There are several accessories available for your sound processor. Please contact
your hearing aid centre for more information.

General advice

The sound processor is not waterproof! Never wear it in the bath
or shower! If it gets wet by accident open the battery door immediately
and take the battery out. Leave the battery door open until it is dry.
Do not expose the sound processor to extreme heat etc.
If you are to undergo an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) procedure,
the sound processor should be removed beforehand. The implant and the
abutment remain in place.
Your sound processor should be protected from dust and dirt so
always keep it in its box when not being worn.
