Attach the fixed side to both
ends, using the 60mm bolts and
the Allen Key, as shown.
Ensure the outer face of the
dropside is on the outside of the
cot. This face can be identified
by the instruction label on the
lower rail.
A) Engage the upper pins on
each side in the lower opening in
the upper track of the dropside.
Lower the dropside.

Ease the ends apart and
engage the lower pins in the
diagonal groove in the lower
track of the dropside. (The
mattress base rail bolts may
need to be loosened a little more
to achieve this). Slide the
dropside up smoothly and it will
lock into position.
Tighten all the fittings securely.
To lower the dropside
1) Apply pressure to the bottom of
the dropside with your leg, where
the instruction label is placed
2) Pull the dropside up and
towards you.
3) Lower the dropside.

Dismantle the cot, keeping the
bolts and nuts.
Remove the dropside pins.
Detach the lower portion of the
foot end, including the short
panel. The upper section will be
used as the bed end.
Attach the mattress base rails to
the ends, in the lower position on
the head end and in the upper
position on the foot end, as
shown, using the 60mm bolts and
nuts, as before. Replace the
mattress base.
Notice the 2 holes, bored in the
mattress rails (X). These are not
a manufacturing error, but
to enable the fitting of a
Mothercare bed guard.
