Operation principle

Motor rotates upper and lower pressure rollers through reduction gearbox and chain. Slide carriages drive the
hot wedge and insert it between the two base materials, at the same time lever presses pressure rollers and
engages the two fused base materials.
• Heating system
wedge position can be steplessly adjusted as required.

pressure rollers. The swivel head guarantees the equalisation of the pressure to both welded sections
(C and D) as well as on a welded seam without test channel.
This allows T-joints to be welded easily. During the welding process the pressure adjusts itself linearly to the
change in material thickness of the geomembrane liner.

Double drive system, is steplessly adjustable.

Putting into operation

• The power source voltage must correspond with the value given on the nameplate. Extension cords must have
a conductor cross section of minimum 3 x 1.5 mm
have been well connected, check that the power is on OFF state and regulate temperature and speed control
potentiometer to 0 position, press lever handle down to disengage pressure roller, then insert the plug.
• Turn on the power and select certain temperature and speed, take several narrow materials for welding trial.
Temperature selection can be diff erent for the same material at diff erent ambient temperature and material
thickness. To determine the best welding eff ect, adjust the speed to approximately 2m/min, and then fi ne
increase it from low to high temperature (approximately 250 – 350 °C).
The temperature is steplessly adjustable. According to the material thickness the hot
