5. Presentation of the tool
Before starting to work with the tool, get acquainted of its operating specifics and safety conditions to

This power tool is supplied only by a single phase alternate current. It may be connected to out-
lets without protection terminals, as it has a double isolation, compliant with standards EN 60745-1
and IEC 60745. Radiophonic disturbance complies with the Directive on electromagnetic compliance
2004/108/EC.
This power tool was designed to connect tubes in different materials prepared previously with a fitting.
WARNING: Never actuate the power tool without having fitted a jaw.
Before starting the work
▪ Check the mains voltage corresponds to that indicated on the data sheet containing the technical data on the
tool.
▪ Check the position of the trigger. The tool must always be connected and disconnected from mains with the
trigger not pressed (OFF position). If you connect the tool to mains with the trigger pressed (run position), the
tool starts immediately, which may cause an accident.
▪ Ensure the power supply cable and its plug are in perfect condition. If the power supply cable is damaged, it
must be replaced by a specialized technician so that the risks related with changing are avoided.

▪ If the work zone is away from the outlet, use an extension as short as possible with an appropriate cable
cross-section.
6.1. Fitting the jaw
▪ DISCONNECT THE CRIMPER. Omitting to disconnect the crimper before adjusting or changing the acces-
sories may cause severe injuries.
• RELEASE THE LOCKING SYSTEM. Fully press the locking button. Turn the locking button to align the
groove with the retaining screw. A spring under the locking button facilitates pin retraction.
▪ INSTALL THE JAW. Align the jaw with the crimping head. Align the jaw with the stop button axis.
▪ PRESS AND LOCK THE STOP BUTTON. Press the pin of the locking button into the jaw hole and align the
groove of the stop button with the retaining screw.
