8.1. General inspection

Check regularly all fastening elements to ensure they are properly tightened. If a screw is loose,
tighten it immediately to prevent any risk.
If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be changed by the producer or a specialist approved by
the latter, to prevent any risks related with its replacement.
After 18 000 cycles, the 'Maintenance' LED stays lit red to indicate the crimping machine requires
maintenance. The crimping machine is locked and prevents the performance of additional crimping
cycles. The user must return the tool to the After Sales Service
IMPORTANT NOTES:
▪ When the crimper is sent to the After Sales Service, the cycle counter is reset. The internal components are
checked and repaired or replaced if required.
▪ Any lack of maintenance may impact proper operation of the crimper, resulting in severe injuries for the
user.
8.2. Crimper servicing
▪ Regularly clean and grease the crimping rollers to avoid dust and other contamination from building up.
8.3. Motor maintenance
▪ Check the ventilation slots on the motor are not obstructed. Remove any dust and contamination built up.
8.4. Connection with the software
▪ The crimper can be connected to a PC with a USB 2.0 type A male / mini USB male cable. Hence, you may
see the number of cycles performed by your crimper, as well as the status of the last cycle performed.
WARNING:
▪ To connect the cable to the tool, remove the protection cover.
▪ Connect the crimper before connecting the machine to the PC.
You may download the software to connect the machine and its user manual on our web site:
