The room sensor is an accessory for customers who wish to com-
bine the heat pump with a room sensor.
The room sensor can display the following information in the dis-
play window:
• Actual room temperature
• Desired room temperature
• Actual outdoor temperature
• Alarm from control centre
The following can be controlled using the buttons on the room
sensor:
• Set the desired room temperature
• Activate TOP-UP for extra hot water
• Calibrate the room sensor

The room sensor impac t on the heat pump
The following parameters in the control unit can affect the room
sensor, also see the Installation instructions:
HEATING
• ROOM FACTOR
• FACTOR HP
• RS HYST.LOW
• RS HYST.HIGH
Using the room sensor the heat pump works to the desired room
temperature faster. Integral calculation can then be limited when
the room temperatures remain within the desired values. When
the temperature falls below the value for RS.HYST.LOW the inte-
gral calculation is activated. When the temperature exceeds the
value for RS. HYST.HI the integral calculation is reset and the heat
pump stops.
The value of RS.HYST.LOW and RS.HYST.HIGH can be set in the
control unit. Note that the parameter FACTOR HP must be set to
ON.
COOLING
• ROOM SENSOR
• COOL.HYST.RS LOW
• COOL.HYST.RS HIGH
The room sensor can also be used as an addition during cooling.
This function is activated by setting the ROOM SENSOR param-
eter to ON in the COOLING service menu. Two hysteresis settings
(COOL.HYST.RS LOW and COOL.HYST.RS HIGH) can then be stated
in the control unit.
Installation
Installing
Install the room sensor according to the following, see figure 1:
1.
Loosen the rubber bushing (2).
2.
Spilt the room sensor by slackening off the screw under the
rubber bushing.
3.
Screw the bottom section of the room sensor into place
using two screws.
4.
Connect a communication cable (twisted pair data or tele-
phone cable 0.25 mm 2 ) to the screw terminal (4) in the room
sensor according to the wiring diagram.
5.
Put the room sensor together and reinstall the rubber bush-
ing.
Connec tion
1.
Connect the room sensor to the control unit's terminal
block. Use a twisted pair data/telephone cable of at least
0.25 mm 2 . See figure 2 and 3.
