Operation

Transport the BEA 070 only in an upright position via
the carrying handle. Select the installation location
such that the BEA 070 cannot fall and is always cor-
rectly positioned (carrying handle at top).
4.1
Power supply
The power supply is obtained from the lighting system.
The BEA 070 can operate at between 100 V and 240 V,
50/60 Hz.

Prior to start-up, make sure the lighting system volt-
age coincides with the set voltage of the BEA 070. If
the BEA 070 is operated outdoors, it is advisable to
use a voltage source protected by a residual current-
operated circuit breaker. Only operate the unit in dry
conditions!

To avoid the formation of condensation, allow the
BEA 070 to adjust to ambient temperature before
switching it on.

The details of the power supply are provided on
a sticker on the back of the BEA 070.
4.2
Switching on/off
4.2.1
Switching on the unit
1. Plug the power cord into the BEA 070, and attach to
the holes (Fig. 1, Pos. 4) with a cable tie to provide
strain relief.
2. Connect the BEA 070 to the lighting system via the
power cord.
3. Press the On/Off button.

Switching off the unit

First exit from the exhaust gas test step, and wait
for the fan to stop running. Only then, switch off the
BEA 070.
1. Press the On/Off button for more than two seconds.

original CD to hand near the exhaust gas analyzer.
