Handle Assembly
Fitting the Lower handle to the Lawnmower
1. Remove handle
knobs.
2. Fit the lower handle
ensuring that the
formed ends are
located properly in
corresponding slots
either side of the
lawnmower.(C1)
3. Secure the handle with the plastic washers
and handle knobs provided. Make sure that
the Lower Pull Cord Guide is on the right-
hand side when viewed from the rear.
Fitting the Upper Handle to the Lower
Handle
1. Attach the upper
handlebar.
2. Insert the bolts from
the inside.(C2)
Note: Place washer
between wing nut and
handlebar.

Recoil Starter
1. Disconnect the spark
plug lead.
2. Pull the Operator
Presence Control to
release the brake on
the engine.

3. Locate cord in the
pull cord guide on the
lower handle.(D3).
4. Locate cord in the
pull cord guide on the
upper handle.(D4)
You must release
the brake by pulling
the OPC lever to the
handle before
pulling out the cord.
