4. Mounted Anti-Tipper
(only for Oxford Plus model)
The anti-tipper prevents the wheelchair from tipping too far backward.
The anti-tipper must be rotated into the active position on one or both sides be-
fore use. This is accomplished by pressing the ball ratchets (Item A) and making
the adjustment. The anti-tipper must audibly lock in place, before it is able to bear
loads.
For untrained wheelchair users, the use of an anti-tipper is strongly recommended.
5 Transportation
Grab the middle of seat upholstery at the front and the back and pull it upwards,
the wheelchair will be folded (Figure 5).
For more manageable transportation, e.g. in cars, the footrests can be entirely
removed in just a few easy steps. To move the footrest, press the release lever to
the inside (Figure 6). The footrest with footplate can then be swung outward by 90°
and be removed by pulling it upward.
