Safety instructions
Make sure that any person installing, taking into operation
and operating the contactless liquid level indicators:
• Is technically qualified and competent.
• Fully complies with these assembling instructions.

rent forms to emphasize important information.

Safety notes on the equipment operation
Electrical installation is subject to the relevant national
safety rules.
It is mandatory to connect the grounding cable because of
safety reason.
CAUTION
Installation, electrical connection and fitting the device have to
be carried out by qualified personnel and only in accordance to
this instruction manual.
It is responsibility of the user to make sure that the device is
used for specified application only.
For safety matters, please avoid any unauthorized and
improperly works.

CONTACTLESS LIQUID LEVEL INDICATORS CU eOLI100/ CU eOLI200

Product description

The Contactless Ultrasonic CU eOLI is used for mea-
surement of the oil level for transformer equipped with
conservator (with or without rubber bag). It is consists of
an embed ultrasonic sensor: the conservator oil level (%)
can be read throught the analog output 4-20mA (COMEM
can provide also the Viewer to visualize the value at
human height.) and through the digital output (MODBUS
RS-485). Note that every ultrasonic sensor has an offset
that creates a blind zone in which the sensor is not able
to measure. See installation paragraph to determine the
correct position of the Contactless Ultrasonic CU eOLI, in
order to minimize the blind zone inside the conservator.
A configurable changeover relay can switch in case of mis-
sing power supply, reaching of top and bottom thresholds,
or in both the cases.

It is important to observe the limit values indicated on the
