Burst (cells): Define the number consecutive cells that compose the packet
AAL5. The packet's content is predefined and valid only for this test. Only for
AAL5 test.
Start the test.
In order to obtain correct data, the remote device must be
enabled for managing the OAM maintenance cells or it may
perform a loop of AAL5 packet, or it must be another D2061.
The test results appear on the screen:
Date, time and elapsed time
Transmitted cells and Received cells
Average rate obtained in reception and transmission expressed in
cells per second transmitted and received
Ratio between average rate reached and average rate set
expressed in percentage
Average rate obtained in reception and transmission expressed in
Kbit per second
Number of lost cells
CLR, (Cell Loss Ratio) ratio between lost and received cells,
index of the line quality at ATM level. This result could change
during the test because of the excessive delay of the cells.

3.6. IP Ping

With this test is possible to verify the correct operation of the Internet connection
and check if a remote network or host is reachable, by using the ICMP (Internet
Control Message Protocol) Echo command.
In order to perform this test the ADSL tester must be equipped by
the IP2061 option
The response from the remote will provide information about the net structure.
