QUICK GUIDE
Select ADSL Access, ATU-R mode.
Select MANUAL TESTS.
Select IP PING menu.
Parameters configuration.
Define the following parameters to perform the test:
Dest.IP/Dest. URL: Insert the IP or URL destination address to ping.

Press the key ASTERISK to switch from the field "Dest. IP"
to "Dest. URL" and viceversa.
In order to carry out the IP Ping test by using only one D2061,
do not insert any data into the field and press ENTER. The will
set automatically the item "Myself " and will use its own IP
address as remote IP.
Ping request number: Insert the number of Ping (Echo) requests.
Max response time (sec): Maximum response time between Ping requests. The
test set waits this time before considering the request expired.
Data field length: Assign data field length of the Ping packet, to verify if the
remote is reachable a part from the packet length.
Don't fragment: Verify if the remote is reachable whether with fragment or not
fragment packets.
Trace route: Select "YES" in order to display, in the results, all the IP remote
addresses met before reaching the destination IP address. Are also provided
response times for each remote IP address so to verify bottlenecks detected over
the line.
Protocol type: Choose the network protocols stack according to the contract.
Ask the correct configuration to use to your local provider. The protocol types are
