• Do not drop the machine

for this machine before plugging into the socket.

to avoid burning.
• Do not use this machine in extreme temperatures or
close to cookers, air conditioning units or in direct sunlight.
Keep unit clear of all combustable material, to avoid the
risk of fire.
• Do not immerse cordset, plug, or the unit itself in water or
other liquid at any time to avoid electric shocks or fire.
• Do not touch the heated areas with your hands, cords, or
other objects, to avoid burns or damage to the unit.
• Do not leave the thermal cover in the heating channel after
the binding cycle has been completed, to avoid distortion or
discolouration of the thermal cover.
• Do not use heat sensitive paper (such as fax paper) in this
unit as it risks discolouration.
• To prevent injury, do not attempt to separate the document,
while it is hot.
• Always unplug the unit when not in use.
Maintenance & care
This machine is for office and household use only. Any

services, other than cleaning should be carried out only
by an authorized service representative.
Do not immerse the machine in liquids or wipe it with

wet cloth.
When cleaning, unplug the unit first. Wipe the unit with

a dry soft cloth.
