When you have finished linking your
lights, you can plug in the line cord to
the lead fixture and then into the wall
outlet (Fig. 7).
BULB REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Replace only with a linear fluorescent bulb:
Bulb #F18T5 8W (UC1024-WHG-13T51-U);
Bulb #F13T5 13W (UC1024-WHG-21T51-U). Do not replace
with any other wattage of linear fluorescent bulb.
1
Remove the diffuser by pulling back and
down on the top edge of the diffuser
using your fingertips (Fig. 1).
2
Remove the bulb from the fixture by
placing your thumbs on the metal ends of
the bulb. While applying slight pressure
on the bulb, roll the bulb toward you until
the contact pins on the ends of the bulb
disengage from the socket (Fig. 2). Pull
the bulb straight out from the socket and
dispose of properly (Fig. 3) .
3
Install the bulb into the sockets by aligning
the pins of the bulb with the slot in the
sockets (Fig. 4). Using your thumbs and
forefinger, press the metal ends of the
bulb socket, and roll the bulb forward until
it rotates 90 degrees inside the socket,
making contact between the bulb pins,
and the socket contacts (Fig. 5).
4
Replace the diffuser by positioning one
side lip of the diffuser in the groove on the
side of the fixture. Then, push the other
edge of the diffuser until the diffuser locks
into place (Fig. 6 and Fig 7).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Your fixture is made from quality materials that will last for
many, many years with minimum care. You may want to
periodically clean the fixture using a mild, non-abrasive glass
cleaner and soft cloth. Do NOT use solvents or cleaners
containing abrasive agents. When cleaning the fixture, make
sure you have the power turned off and do not spray liquid
cleaner directly onto the bulb, socket, ballast, or wiring.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Minor problems often can be fixed without the help of an
electrician. Before doing any work on the fixture, shut off power
supply at the circuit breaker panel to avoid electrical shock.
