Thank you for choosing one of the various items that
TOP PERFORMANCES designed and manufactured for racing
use only.
Top Performances developed these oversized clutch plates for the
AM6 engine using technologically advanced materials.
The plates are made in treated aluminium, while the friction material
used is a "cellulose" compound mixed with Kevlar fi bre, phenolic resin,
friction modifi ers and fi llers. This compound is particularly porous and
stops more oil particles, ensuring a more effi cient heat dissipation.
By reducing the clutch operating temperature, the expansion of its
materials is also reduced, thus improving its performance even in
extreme conditions.
Moreover, the increased operating surface reduces plate wear and
makes clutch operation smoother, contributing to the elimination of
unwanted slipping.
