Make sure all parts are clean and dry before you store the appliance (see chapter 'Cleaning').
Place steaming bowl 3 on the drip tray 1.

To store the mains cord, push it into the cord storage compartment in the base (Fig. 11).

Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but
hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 12).

This chapter summarises the most common problems you could encounter with the appliance. If
you are unable to solve the problem with the information below, contact the Consumer Care
Centre in your country.
Problem
The steamer does
not work.
Not all the food
is cooked.

Possible cause
Some pieces of food in
the steamer are larger
and/or require a longer
steaming time than others.
You put too much food in
the steaming bowls.
Solution
The steamer is not plugged in.
There is no water in the water tank.
You have not yet set a steaming time with the
steaming time adjustment knob.
Set a longer steaming time with the steaming
time adjustment knob.
Put larger pieces of food and food that requires
a longer steaming time in the bottom steaming
bowl (no. 2).
Do not overload the steaming bowls. Cut the
food into small pieces and put the smallest
pieces on top.
Arrange the food with spaces between the
pieces to enable maximum flow of steam.
