Risk of scalding
• The appliance heats up during use. Do not touch any hot surfaces with
proper safety gloves.
• Do not move the egg boiler while it is in use as hot water may spill out.
Other causes of injury
• Never leave the egg boiler unattended when in use.
• Handle the egg piercer with care, it is extremely sharp.
Caution - material damage
• Do not operate the appliance without water in the boiling pan.
• Do not bend the power cord and do not wrap it around the appliance. Use the
cable storage for management.
• Do not use pointed or abrasive objects to clean the appliance.
• Do not use any aggressive lime scale removers.
• Do not place the appliance next to water sources or surfaces; splashes could
cause marks.
Cleaning & Care
Danger: The appliance must not be immersed in water or other liquids as this
causes the risk of electric shock.
Caution: Do not use pointed or abrasive objects to clean the appliance. Do not
use any aggressive limescale removers.
Cleaning after us
1. Unplug and allow the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning.
2. Regularly wipe the boiling pan with a damp cloth.
3. Cleaning the lid and egg tray with warm soapy water.
Removing scale deposits
1. Fill the boiling pan with water and a dash of vinegar.
2. Set the control to the setting shown on the right, heat the vinegar
solution and allow it to take effect for several minutes, then pour it away.
3. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before wiping it clean.
