- A damaged battery could irritate your
airways, skin and eyes. In the event of
contact, immediately rinse the
affected area with water and seek
medical attention. The liquid inside
the battery is flammable!
Attention
- The battery may only be charged if the
lock body housing is not damaged. If
there is visible damage on the lock
body such as cracks or holes, the
battery must not be charged!
- Do not use or store the product in
areas where the temperature could
reach below -20°C or above +40°C. Do
not expose the product to direct
sunlight for long periods of time!
- Never attempt to open the product
and remove the battery. This could
lead to damage (battery outgassing,
short circuit, etc.).
- Do not use a high-pressure cleaner
(IP class 44) or aggressive cleaning
agents to clean the lock.
- Check the lock for damage at least
once a year. If there is visible damage
on the lock body such as cracks or
holes, the lock must no longer be
used.
- The product may only be used for its

intended purpose. Any modification to
the product is prohibited.

First commissioning and charging
the battery
When delivered, the lock is in transport
mode (The bar is only latched in the lock,
not locked).
In order to use the lock, the battery must
first be fully charged.
While charging the device, install the
Smart X app (→ chapter 2, page 30).
