2) Connect the signal source to the jacks INPUT (4). It
is possible to connect the line output of a mixer, of
a CD player, of a power amplifier, or of any other
desired audio unit.
When connecting the left channel of the signal
source to the jack "L" and the right channel to the
jack "R", the active speaker system reproduces the
left channel and the passive speaker system the
right channel.
3) Finally connect the supplied mains cable to the
mains jack (7) and to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
4.3 Operation
Caution! Never adjust a very high volume. Perma-
nent high volumes may damage your hearing! The
human ear will get accustomed to high volumes
which do not seem to be that high any more after
some time. Therefore, do not further increase a high
volume after getting used to it.
1) Switch on the signal source connected.
2) To prevent switching-on noise, prior to switching on
set the VOLUME control (3) to MIN. Then switch on
the active speaker system with the POWER switch
(9). The POWER LED (10) lights up.
3) Adjust the desired volume with the VOLUME con-
trol (3).
4) Adjust an optimum sound with the two controls
HIGH and LOW (6).
5) After operation, switch off the unit with the mains
switch POWER (9).
