2. Selecting the location

When selecting the location for the switch cabinet, the following must be taken into account:
The location must be protected from direct sunlight during the summer months.
The rear side of the cabinet must be installed with at least 20 cm clearance from the nearest wall.
The ventilation grilles on the back must remain accessible.
The system generates noise! When operating, the air compressor generates protracted continuous
noise (comparable with an oil heating fan or freezer).
The air hoses must not be longer than 20 metres.
The switch cabinet must not be installed in groundwater. This also applies to groundwater or backwa-
ter that occurs only occasionally.
Power is supplied via a separately protected electrical connection (16 amp, slow blow). Additional
electrical fixtures on the same fuse may disrupt operation.
The empty technical pipe is connected to the front of the switch cabinet. Drill surfaces are provided on the
other sides in which a further opening can be made on site.
