WARNING
Always make sure that the pressure relief valve is in the "neutral" position, before you
connect hydraulic hose(s) to the pump.
•
Remove the dust caps from the female and male couplers.
•
Check the couplers for dirt and damage and clean them if necessary.
•
Screw the male coupler into the female coupler and tighten the locking ring as far as possible.
•
Screw the dust caps together, to prevent from contamination.
5.2.3
Connect the Quick-Lock couplers
Refer to Fig. 8.
WARNING
Always make sure that the pressure relief valve is in the "neutral" position, before you
connect hydraulic hose(s) to the pump.
•
Turn the retainer ring on the female coupler anti-clockwise to unsecure the lock ring.
•
Remove the dust cap from the female coupler by pushing back the lock ring. The dust cap slips off.
•
Pull the dust cap from the male coupler.
•
Check the couplers for dirt and damage and clean them if necessary.
•
Push the lock ring on the female coupler backwards.
•
Push the couplers into each other and the lock ring of the female coupler will automatically lock.
•
Check whether the couplers can not be pulled apart with a normal manual effort and turn the
retainer ring clockwise so that the lock ring is secured.
•
Connect the dust caps together.
5.3
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses
5.3.1
General
Caution
Never use pliers or similar to disconnect the hydraulic couplers.
5.3.2
Disconnect the High-Flow couplers
Refer to Fig. 9.
WARNING
Always make sure that the pressure relief valve is in the "neutral" position, before you
disconnect hydraulic hose(s) from the pump.
•
Disconnect the dust caps from each other.
•
Unscrew the locking ring. The male coupler will be released.
•
Clean the couplers and the dust caps.
•
Replace the dust caps on the female and male couplers.
5.3.3
Disconnect the Quick-Lock couplers
