6 MAIN BODY INSTALLATION
Loosen Gripping Nut (6A), remove Upper Locknut (6B) and Washer (6C) from Main
Body (6D). Push Outlet Tube (6E) into Main Body (6D) until tube reaches bottom.
Tighten Gripping Nut (6A) to secure Outlet Tube (6E). From underneath deck, insert
Main Body (6D) up through tub spout hole. From above deck, place Washer (6F) and
slide and tread Diverter Body (6G) (Diverter Body is supplied separately with trim) into
Main Body (6D). Be sure to position Diverter Body (6G) with Set Screw Hole (6H)
facing tub. Secure Diverter Body (6G) with Set Screw (6J). Firmly secure Main Body
(6D) with Lower Locknut (6K).

7 SERVICE HOSE CONNECTIONS
CAUTION: For Copper Sweat joints, it is important to remove Valve Cartridges
and other Plastic Components from Valve Body (7A) and Main Body (7B) before
soldering. Use copper pipe adapters (not furnished) in this type of installation. Do not
disassemble cartridge unit!
For high flow flexible lines (not furnished), apply PTFE Plumber's Tape or Thread Sealant
to all threaded fittings according to manufacturer's instructions.
Connect the End Body Outlets (7A) to Main Body Inlets (7B) using either high flow
flexible lines (7C) with 1/2 - 14 NPSM female connections, or solder 5/8" O.D. Copper
lines (cut to length).

8 SPRAY HOSE CONNECTION
Apply PTFE plumber's tape to Main Body Outlet (8A) according to manufacturer's
instructions. Carefully tighten one end of Spray Hose (8B) to the Main Body Outlet
(8A). From underneath deck, feed the other end of Spray Hose (8B) through end hole and
through Plasterguard (8C). Restrain Spray Hose (8B) with Clip (8D) as shown.
