Before using for the first time
•
Rinse the pan in hot water (do not use washing-
up detergent) and dry carefully.
•
Use some extra cooking fat when frying the first
few times in order to improve the properties of
the pan.
Cleaning
•
Clean the pan after use by washing by hand in
water using a brush. If you wash the pan while
it is still warm it will be easier to clean. Wipe dry
carefully after cleaning
•
Do not leave the pan to soak for a long period.
•
Do not use washing-up detergent. But if it is
absolutely necessary, oil the pan with a little
cooking oil after cleaning.
•
If rust spots should develop on the pan, scrub
with steel wool or a steel brush and rinse. Then
oil the pan with cooking oil and place it in the
oven at max. 150ºC/302ºF for about 1 hour.
•
If the pan is used in the oven a slight smell
may emanate from the handles. The smell
will go away and will not in any way affect the
properties of the pan.
