TV mode – operating with the
remote control of the television
If the sound is only to be played through the sound
bar and the volume is to be controlled using the
remote control of the television, this must be set in
the TV. In the sound menu of your television, turn
off the TV speakers, turn on the audio output, and
select the status "Controllable". (This depends on
the television; see the operating instructions of the
TV.)
Turning on the sound bar
automatically
The sound bar will turn on from standby mode
automatically when there is an audio signal on
INPUT" sockets. It turns off after about
the
"RCA
15 minutes when the audio signal is no longer
present.

7
volume) is set too low, the sound bar may
not switch on after the TV is powered off and
back on. If this is the case, increase the output
signal of the TV with the remote control of
the television and use the
buttons of the remote control of the sound
bar to adjust the volume to the desired vol-
ume.
Caution:
If the sound bar was switched to standby
7
with the remote control (using the »
ton), automatic power-on is disabled. The
sound bar then needs to be switched on
again with this button.
Turning off the sound bar
automatically
If there is no audio signal on the

»AUX
IN« sockets, then the sound bar auto-
matically switches to standby after 15 minutes. To
use the sound bar again, switch it back on.
